Fuerteventura Nightlife

The success of your holiday is largely determined in the planning stages, so every minute you spend making plans will pay off when your trip rolls around. Flights and hotel arrangements require lots of attention, and rightfully so given the expense involved. You’re also likely to spend much of your time researching things to fill your days, such as museums to visit, activities to enjoy, and beaches to relax on. But don’t assume that there’s only fun to be had when the sun is up; some of the most entertaining times on your trip might take place well into the evening hours. The Fuerteventura nightlife will provide you an opportunity for enjoyment off the beaches with fellow tourists and island natives alike, and you’ll do yourself a favor if you partake in it.

The Spanish Canary Islands are notorious for thriving nightlife, and while Fuerteventura does have plenty to offer, it is a bit more subdued than some of its neighboring islands. Still, wherever you find large concentrations of resorts and hotels – and in the larger villages, too – you’ll also find plenty of live music bars and nightclubs. Scattered amongst the more traditional establishments are some more unique spots that appeal to certain personalities; karaoke clubs, cabaret shows, and other wildly themed spots might be calling your name.

Fuerteventura-lighthouseCorralejo is one of the island’s busiest towns, and it’s the place to be if you want to get out on the town in the late hours. Rock Island, for instance, is a live music bar that brings in rock bands nightly. If you’re up for some dancing, Waikiki’s is a disco club with a thriving dance floor and DJ that rarely simmers down until sometime near morning. In the other resorts districts and tourist-friendly villages, Fuerteventura nightlife is scarcer but still there for the taking. Don’t make the mistake of putting your fun to rest when the sun goes down! See what the island has to offer when the beaches close and the bars open their doors.
